Chilled Tea and Chicken-Like Birds

If there's something I'm terrible at, it's finishing my cup of tea. I sit with the same cup I had yesterday, half finished, chilled in the fridge, in an attempt to  cool myself from the gross summer heat. It's not working very well. I spent most of my day trying not to stress about the fact that there is four days until my big move. I did, however, discover a very, VERY intriguing local band while at a park performance. Their name you already know: Chicken-Like Birds. They were a beautiful duo of jazz and country. Now if you know me (which none of you do), you'd know that I despise country with a passion deep in my bones. There was something about these two though, maybe it was the twang and slap of the upright bass, or the fact that I was convinced that the male looked like Rhett from Rhett and Link.

The last of the packing is done tomorrow, the part I'm dreading the most. For many years, I've had posters upon poster on my walls. Many that have came into my room have wanted to use it as an inspirational space. Everything is meticulously placed. Having to do that is an ordeal that I will have to face. A part of me is excited, while the other part is just damn tired.

I wonder what adventure tomorrow holds
